Im Chon-il is going to discuss economic and cultural cooperation
/NOVOSTIVL/ A senior North Korean diplomat left for Russia on Monday for vice foreign ministerial talks between the two countries, the North's state media has reported. This article appeared in the Yonhap News Agensy.
During the trip, Vice Foreign Minister Im Chon-il also plans to take part in events marking the 70th anniversary of an agreement signed between the two countries on economic and cultural cooperation, the Korean Central News Agency reported.

Last week, the two countries held trade talks in Moscow and also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperating in the tourism industry.
